1 DUI Arrest Made By Hinsdale Police During Super Bowl Crackdown
Several citations were made in Hinsdale over Super Bowl weekend.

HINSDALE, IL - Hinsdale police made one driving under the influence arrest and issued several citations during their Super Bowl weekend crackdown earlier this month. Tallied in the time period from Friday, Feb. 1 until Monday, Feb. 4 were nine seat belt citations, five speeding tickets, one operating an uninsured motor vehicle ticket, six distracted driving tickets and nine other Illinois Vehicle Code violations.
The effort in Hinsdale was part of the nationwide "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" and "Click-It-or Ticket" campaign.
“Motorists should understand the warning that we are serious about cracking down on impaired drivers and seat belt law violators. We do it to save lives,” said Deputy Chief Thomas Lillie.
