16-Year-Old Brings Tequila To School: Hinsdale Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Possession Of Alcohol By Minor
- A 16-year-old male was cited at 1:58 p.m. Nov. 1 at Hinsdale Central High School, 5500 S. Grant St., for possession of alcohol by minor. The student was observed to be under the influence of alcohol at school, and was in possession of a water bottle containing tequila.
DUI

- Michael Fichter, 43, of Lansing, was arrested at 11:23 p.m. Oct. 31 at Salt Creek and Ogden for DUI-alcohol, obstructing identification and speeding.
- Fredy Lopez-Alcaraz, 29, of Chicago, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at Garfield and 55th Street for DUI-alcohol, driving in wrong lane, operating an uninsured vehicle and obstructing identification.
Domestic Battery
- Turkan Ilkdemirci, 51, of the 5500 block of South Garfield, was arrested at 8:28 a.m. Nov. 2 in the 5500 block of Garfield for domestic battery. She was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Motor Vehicle Theft

- An unlocked car was stolen from a driveway in the 600 block of South Garfield sometime between 5 p.m. Nov. 5 and 3:46 a.m. Nov. 6. Burr Ridge Police located the vehicle in the 6300 block of South County Line Road.
- A car was stolen out of a garage in the 500 block of South Grant Street sometime between 10:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and 4:18 a.m. Nov. 6. An unlocked car in the driveway was rummaged through and the garage door opener was used to open the garage.
