3 DUI Arrests In Hinsdale: Cops

One woman struck a curb and was suspected to have an illegal drug, police said.

HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

  • Elizabeth A. Cahall, 38, of Cocoa Beach, Florida, was arrested about 8 p.m. Saturday at Madison Street and Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver. According to a police report, she was stopped after she struck a curb traveling on Ogden. An open container of vodka was found in her purse. She also had a suspected controlled substance in pill form and a white powdery substance in clear baggies, police said. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court. More charges are pending the results of a lab report.
  • Kathryn A. Kern, 59, of Lisle, was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday in the 200 block of West 55th Street on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and using a phone while driving. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a day to appear in court.
  • Litoria Yates, 36, of Algonquin, was arrested at midnight Tuesday at Interstate 294 and Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was parked on the side of the road asleep at the wheel. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A resident in the 300 block of East Fourth Street told police Monday about a fraudulent withdrawal from her bank account on Feb. 1. The case is pending.
