4 DUI Arrests In Hinsdale
Clarendon Hills woman is found slumped over her wheel, report says.
HINSDALE, IL — A Clarendon Hills woman was charged last week with aggravated DUI, which police said was her third drunken driving offense. Police were called to a report of reckless driving in the 100 block of North Vine Street.
When officers arrived, they found a woman slumped in the driver's seat, with an open bottle of vodka found inside the car, police said. The suspect was identified as Cynthia M. Monaco, 62. The incident was about 3:30 p.m. Aug. 5. Her license had already been suspended because of a previous DUI, according to a police report.
Besides aggravated DUI, Monaco was charged with driving with a revoked license, driving on the wrong side of the road, disobeying a stop sign and transporting open alcohol by a driver. Monaco was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
