5 Cars Burglarized In Hinsdale: Police
In another case, a nursing home resident reported cash missing from her purse, authorities said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Car burglaries
- Someone entered three unlocked cars and rummaged through the interiors overnight Saturday in the 100 block of Maumell Street. The same happened to a car in the 10 block of South Adams Street and an unlocked car in the 500 block of North Bruner Street. Nothing was reported stolen.
Theft

- A resident at The Pearl of Hinsdale nursing home, 600 W. Ogden Ave., told police that someone stole cash from her purse kept in her room between 10 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday.
DUI
- A 33-year-old Bellwood man was arrested about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of West Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane use and use of unsafe tires. Police responded to a call about a person driving on a rim and weaving between lanes. The man submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
