5-Year-Old Bitten By Dog: Hinsdale Cops

The dog was being walked by a woman, report says. The girl was with her mother.

HINSDALE, IL — A 5-year-old girl was bitten by a dog while she and her mother were walking on a sidewalk earlier this month in Hinsdale, according to a police report. The incident happened shortly before 4 p.m. April 2 and was reported a day later. The police released information about the bite in its weekly reports Tuesday.

The dog was on a leash and being walked by a woman, who was described as white, 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches, and in her early 50s, police said.

The dog was described as black and brown, long-haired and medium-sized with a long snout.
