65 Seat Belt Citations During Holiday Enforcement Campaign
Police also issued numerous citations for using an electronic device while driving.
HINSDALE, IL — Numbers have been released from the most recent Hinsdale Police Department 'Click it or Ticket' safety campaign held around the Fourth of July. During a crackdown on impaired driving and other offenses centered around the holiday weekend, police issued 65 seat belt citations and 44 citations for illegal use of an electronic device while driving. No driving under the influence arrests were reported in the information police released on Tuesday.
There were also 13 speeding tickets issued, one driving while license revoked arrest and six other Illinois Vehicle code citations during the crackdown.
