AAUW announces 2015 Scholarship Recipients
Hinsdale South and Hinsdale Central Women awarded AAUW Home Tour-funded scholarships
Empowering women as individuals and as a community since 1881, AAUW has a long and distinguished history of advancing educational and professional opportunities for women locally, nationally, and around the globe. Under the banner of “Education and Equity for Women and Girls,” The Hinsdale-Oak Brook area chapter is proud to announce this year’s scholarship winners---young women from both Hinsdale Central and Hinsdale South high schools who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance. These women will use their AAUW awards, funded by proceeds from the 2014 Scholarship Home Tour, to further their educations at a variety of universities.
From Hinsdale South High School, the recipients are Empress Christian, Claudia Morawa and Ashley Yong.
From Hinsdale Central High School, the recipient is Zuzanna Niewinski.
