Active Learners Preschool Has Openings for Fall Programs

Come play with us! The Clarendon Hills Park District's Active Learners Preschool has openings in both its "Terrific Threes" and "Fantastic Fours Pre-K" program for the 2016-17 school year, which begins on Wednesday, Sept. 7. In the fall, three-year-old programs will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, while the four-year-old classes will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. All programs at the Active Learners Preschool emphasize a core curriculum, an early love of learning, skill development, positive self-esteem, new friendships and fun! Tuition for the 2016-17 school year will be $1,600.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $1,700.00 for boys and girls living in surrounding communities. A $100.00 non-refundable tuition deposit will hold a child's place in the preschool program for the coming year. Kathy Forzley, the Director of the Active Learners Preschool, will welcome a new assistant teacher, Gretchen Malitz, for the coming year. Ms. Gretchen has taught at a number of area preschools and has a special talent for music. All preschool registration is being accepted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue.
