Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Darla

HINSDALE, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Hinsdale Humane Society. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Darla, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Darla is an Australian Shepherd mix and is 8 months old. According to the shelter, she is 32 pounds and is an active young herding dog who is very smart and sweet. She is adoptable to families with children 8 years of age or older.

The Hinsdale Humane Society is located at 22 N. Elm St., in Hinsdale. The society is open from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays; 12 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It is closed on Mondays.
