Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Frankie

HINSDALE, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Hinsdale Humane Society. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Frankie, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Frankie is big, handsom, domestic short-haired cat weighing in at 20 pounds. The society said despite his size, he considers himself a lap cat and has crazy amounts of love to give.

Frankie loves being brushed, getting belly rubs and having his face scratched. If his adopter is strong, he's also happy to be carried around, the society said.

The Hinsdale Humane Society is located at 21 Salt Creek Lane, in Hinsdale. The society is open from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays; 12 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It is closed on Mondays.

If you can give Frankie the loving home he deserves, visit him and the other cats and dogs available for adoption at Hinsdale Humane Society this week.
