Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Monchichi

HINSDALE, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Hinsdale Humane Society. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Monchichi, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Monchichi is a French Bulldog and Pit bull terrier mix. She is 4 years old and 34 pounds. The society said she was brought to them by a local police department. Her owner was not able to be located, and now she's looking for her new family that will give her a life she deserves.

According to the society, she gets along well with people 8 years of age or older and loves the limelight ever since her appearance on ABC-7 Chicago News recently.

The Hinsdale Humane Society is located at 22 N. Elm St., in Hinsdale. The society is open from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays; 12 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It is closed on Mondays.
