Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Shep

HINSDALE, IL — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Hinsdale Humane Society. This week's 'Adoptable Pet' is Shep the dog, who is available for adoption at the humane society.

Shep is a German Shepherd Pug mix and is 2 and a half years old and 40 pounds. The shelter said his adoption fee is $150 and he is recommended for families with kids 13 and older based on his behavior assessment.

According to the society, Shep is looking for love and is ready to adore the lucky individual or family that steps forward to adopt him.

The Hinsdale Humane Society is located at 22 N. Elm St., in Hinsdale. The society is open from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays; 12 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It is closed on Mondays.
