Alcohol Tied To Hinsdale Crash With Injuries: Cops
An open bottle of alcohol is found in one of the cars, police said.
HINSDALE, IL — Two cars crashed in a Hinsdale intersection last month, sending four people to the hospital, police said. One of the drivers is suspected of DUI.
About 4:30 p.m. Dec. 19, the cars collided at Lincoln Street and Hinsdale Avenue, causing one of them to spin into a parked car, according to a Hinsdale police news release.
Police said they found an open container of alcohol and two bags of a green leafy substance inside one of the cars and in the driver's possession.

The case is labeled as a DUI involving alcohol. It is pending further investigation, police said. No one has been arrested.
Hinsdale releases a weekly media report, but the Dec. 19 accident didn't appear until the latest one, which was issued Wednesday.
