HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale plans to resurface eight streets this year, spending an estimated $1.5 million.
The streets are generally in poor condition, according to a village memo.
For this year's resurfacing program, the village avoided streets where it plans to replace lead water pipes, starting next year, the memo said. The village said it did not want to resurface a street and then tear it up relatively soon after for the pipe work.
The resurfacing will involve 1.3 miles of streets.
