HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale Adventist Academy is putting on the student musical, "The Prince of Egypt," at the school's campus at 631 E. Hickory St.
The production will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available online.
According to the school, the musical follows Ramses and Moses, who are raised together as brothers in ancient Egypt before a hidden past divides them. One becomes pharaoh, while the other rises to free his people, in a story centered on faith, courage, identity and freedom.
The production is being directed by Alice Hyde, an academy music teacher and choir director. The school said the show features a cast of student performers with support from faculty members and volunteers.
