HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotters. Here is information from the reports:
Asleep behind the wheel
A 40-year-old Union Grove, Wisconsin, man was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday at Woodland Avenue and County Line Road on charges of DUI, improper stopping and possession of open alcohol by a driver. He was asleep behind the wheel, police said. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was given a court date and then released.
A 46-year-old Downers Grove man was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Ogden Avenue and York Street on charges of DUI and improper lane use. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was given a court date and then released.
A 34-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at Garfield and Ayres avenues on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, and transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver. He refused to submit to testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was given a court date and then released.
An 18-year-old Woodridge woman was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 12 at Madison and 55th streets on charges of DUI and speeding. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was given a court date and then released.
Theft
A resident in the 400 block of South Thurlow Street told police that someone stole garbage cans from the side of his house between July 27 and Aug. 4.
Warrant
A 22-year-old Chicago woman was arrested on a Cook County warrant about 1:30 a.m. Aug. 6 at Ogden Avenue and Madison Street. She was stopped for a license plate inquiry. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Identity theft
A resident in the 500 block of Justina Street told police Aug. 4 that someone accessed the resident's bank account and changed the account information.
