"There's a lot of standing water, and of course, this summer's storms have only made this problem stand out more," Trustee Neale Byrnes said at Tuesday's Village Board meeting.

HR Green of New Lenox is receiving $34,450 to study the neighborhood's drainage.

"I think this is a smart approach," Trustee Alexis Braden said.

HR Green has performed such studies for the village before.
