United Stationers Names Hinsdale resident, Ric Phillips, as President, Online and New Channels
Phillips to lead online and new business initiatives at United Stationers
DEERFIELD, Ill. – January 30, 2013 – United Stationers has announced Ric Phillips, resident of Hinsdale, has joined United as president, online and new channels.

Phillips will be responsible for growing United’s new channels business and strategically positioning the company to win online by building new reseller capabilities for reaching the marketplace. As a member of United’s senior leadership team, Phillips will also collaborate across the company’s business units to implement current and long range plans and policies. Most recently, he was a partner at McKinsey and Company in Chicago. Previously, he held various positions with Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Deerfield, IL.
Phillips joins two new key executives to support United Stationers’ marketing and online initiatives:

- Girisha Chandraraj is United’s new vice president, digital commerce.
- Diane Hund assumes the position of vice president, marketing for the Supply Division.
Reporting to Phillips, Chandraraj will lead e-commerce and digital strategy across all channels and business units. Diane Hund will oversee the creation and delivery of the Supply Division’s marketing strategy and programs.
