Annual Rotary Run Planned In Hinsdale

The 24th annual Hinsdale Rotary Run will be held Sunday, Oct. 14.

HINSDALE, IL — The 24th annual Hinsdale Rotary Run will be held Sunday, Oct. 14. According to a release, all events will begin at The Community House located at Eighth and Madison streets, and the race will wind through the streets of Hinsdale.

Proceeds will benefit local charities including The Community House, District 181 Foundation, Hinsdale Hospital Foundation, Rotary Club of Hinsdale Foundation and Ray Graham Association-Hanson Center.

District 181 Physical Education instructor Marianne Biedrzycki, has been tapped to serve as the Grand Marshal of the 2018 Hinsdale Rotary Run Charity Classic, according to a release. Known as "Mrs. B" to her students, she has taugh PE at Madison and Oak School for the last 20 years. She plans to retire in spring 2019.

“This is the 24th annual Rotary Run Charity Classic. The 2018 event builds upon the many years of service
and support Hinsdale Rotary and its charities have provided locally, to the surrounding communities and
around the world. Our goal this year, as always, is to positively impact the lives of many area residents,”
Jim Curto, President of the Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Rotary Club, said in a release.
