Auld Lang Syne and the Fabulous 50's

Ring in the new, while remembering days of old! The Clarendon Hills Park District will present "Auld Lang Syne and the Fabulous 50's" between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27 at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Adults ages 50 and better will have an early New Year's Eve celebration complete with a light lunch and a festive toast! Our special guest for the day will be noted local historian Jim Gibbons, who will provide a tribute to the decade of Rock and Roll, the postwar boom, poodle skirts, Elvis Presley, the Korean War and the Civil Rights movement.
