Battery, Car Burglary: Hinsdale Cops
A medical employee struck a patient in the face, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving battery, car burglary, damage and DUI. Here is information from the reports:
Battery
- An employee of RML Specialty Hospital, 5601 S. County Line Road, struck a patient in the face while the patient was trying to get out of bed. The incident occurred about 7 a.m. June 2.

- A car was burglarized about 4 a.m. Sunday in the 5600 block of South Park Avenue. The suspect was seen on surveillance video entering the car and rummaging through the interior while it was parked in the driveway. Clothing was stolen.
Damage
- Someone damaged a portable toilet between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of South Madison Avenue. Fireworks debris was found inside.
DUI

- A 55-year-old McHenry man was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at 55th Street and Garfield Avenue on a DUI charge. Police said they saw the man in a disabled car on the side of the road. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
