Battery and DUI: Hinsdale Blotter

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Battery

• Howard Lavaty II, 55, La Grange Highlands, was arrested at 10:04 p.m. April 27 at Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St., for battery.

Hit and Run

• A car legally parked in the street was damaged at Second and Lincoln streets sometime between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. April 25.

DUI

• Andres Sandoval, 56, of the 900 block of South Grant Street, was arrested at 12:17 a.m. April 26 in the 600 block of West Ogden for DUI-alcohol, speeding and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
