There will be a "big splash" at the Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool on Friday, June 24 when swimmers and non-swimmers alike are invited to participate in the World's Largest Swim Lesson at 10 a.m.. On this date, pools and aquatics parks around the world will be hosting complimentary swimming lessons at the exact same time. While this lesson is free of charge, parents are encouraged to register children and teens ages 3-16 for this event by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21. In person registration is taking place at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Families with an active household account in the Clarendon Hills Park District's Rec Trac system are invited to register on-line at www.clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org.
