Boyfriend Took Her BMW Without Permission: Hinsdale Cops

The most recent Hinsdale police reports also include an arrest for the sale of tobacco to minors.

The following information is from the Hinsdale Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Tiffany Latoya Davenport, 34, of Chicago was stopped at 55th Street and Route 83 at 1:36 a.m. on May 12 and charged with DUI-alcohol, DUI greater than .08 and improper lane use.

Burglary To Vehicle

An unknown suspect entered a victim's vehicle while it was parked in the street in the 400 block of Chanticleer Lane from 6 p.m. on May 11 and 9:43 a.m. on May 12. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle, and the victim believed the car was locked. The victim’s garage door was observed standing open; the vehicle inside garage was locked and nothing was reported disturbed.

Motor Vehicle Theft

A woman in the 700 block of South Stough Street reported that her boyfriend too her vehicle, a 2002 BMW M3, without her permission at some time between 8:30 p.m. on May 10 and noon on May 11.

Sale Of Tobacco To Minor

Nikunjumar K. Patel, 26, of Merrionette Park was charged with sale of tobacco to minors at 6:05 p.m. on May 10 at 7-Eleven, 5803 E. Tri-State.
