Monroe School Welcomes Retired NFL Players for Fun and Fitness
On September 6, Monroe School students were invited to participate in a "One Team - One Community" Fitness Clinic sponsored by the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA).

On September 6, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders of Monroe School were invited to participate in a “One Team - One Community” Fitness Clinic sponsored by the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA). Six retired players led activity stations that helped students hone their skills in running, throwing, passing, and working as a team. Players included: Alfred “Jitter” Fields (Chiefs, Saints), John Janata (Bears, Buccaneers), James Loving (Eagles), Anthony Parker (49ers, Raiders), Tim Tyrrell (Falcons, Rams, Bills, Steelers), and Nolan Harrison (Raiders, Steelers, Redskins). Monroe P.E. teachers Judy Tiggelaar and Lori Andreoni and Principal Dawn Benaitis worked with the NFLPA to schedule the visit.
