Brew Moon Fest Partners with the Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs of La Grange for 2015 Event

Brew Moon Beer and Band Festival partners with civic groups for their 2015 craft beer tasting festival

Brew Moon Beer and Band Festival is excited to announce our partnership with the Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs of La Grange for the 5th Annual Brew Moon Beer and Band Festival, slated for Saturday, October 17, 2015. Brew Moon Beer and Band Festival, presented by Palmer Place Restaurant and the McCook Athletic Expo is the largest indoor craft and import beer festival in the Western Suburbs. Proceeds from this year’s event will support Community Support Services of Brookfield and Helping Hand Center located in Countryside.

Working with the Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs of La Grange allows us to combine resources to create a larger impact in supporting local charities and to create recognition and awareness through community partnership.”, said Steve Palmer, founder of Brew Moon Beer and Band Festival.

The Rotary Club of La Grange has been serving the La Grange community since its inception in 1958, working with area nonprofits and businesses to develop local and international programs in order to keep the community of La Grange and surrounding areas healthy and vibrant. “Partnering with Palmer Place, the McCook Athletic Expo and Kiwanis of La Grange is an important opportunity for the Rotary Club of La Grange to demonstrate how coming together can truly bring a louder voice to the diverse needs within our community, while recognizing the programs and services available to those in need, all while having fun.”, said Ken Grunke, Past President of the Rotary Club of La Grange.

Kiwanis Club of La Grange is an organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of La Grange gives new ways to get to know people in your community, to connect with others and get involved in projects that changes lives. ”The La Grange Area Kiwanis Club is very excited to become a partner with the Brew Moon Fest and its support of our community. This year’s charity recipients, Helping Hand and Community Support Services, have been supported by our Kiwanis Club because of the outstanding work they have done in helping the disabled children of our community” said Ron Melka, President of the Kiwanis Club of La Grange.

Brew Moon Fest is designed for beer enthusiasts to experience fine craft, micro and import breweries in one location. The event will showcase more than 150 craft and import beers for sampling. The 5th Annual Brew Moon Beer and Band Festival will take place on October 17, 2015 at the McCook Athletic Exposition Center (The MAX), located on 4750 Vernon Ave, McCook, IL. The tasting takes place from 6:00- 9:30 p.m. and is followed by a live performance by 7th Heaven until 11 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase on our website at www.brewmoonfest.com.
