The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Burglary
- Someone entered an open garage in the 5700 block of South Garfield sometime between 11 p.m. Dec. 30 and 8 a.m. Dec. 31. A camera, prescription medication and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the garage.
DUI

- Richard Martinez, 30, of the 600 block of The Lane, was arrested at 3:59 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 600 block of The Lane for aggravated DUI, driving while license suspended, resisting a peace officer, improper lane use and driving off the road. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.
