Burr Ridge Man Faces Drug Charge In Hinsdale: Cops
The man was apprehended after he was seen shaking parking meters, police say.
HINSDALE, IL — A Burr Ridge man was arrested recently after being seen in April shaking parking meters and trying to rip them out of the ground in downtown Hinsdale, police said.
Lukas A. Cerny, 28, was arrested on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.
About 7:30 p.m. April 13, police were called to the 10 block of Garfield Avenue about a suspicious person damaging the parking meters, the report said. Police said the person, identified as Cerny, was found in possession of heroin.

At the time, Cerny, who lives on Skyline Drive in unincorporated Burr Ridge and has a Burr Ridge mailing address, was released, with charges pending lab results, police said. On July 5, police received the results and obtained an arrest warrant for Cerny.
On July 17, Cerny was taken into custody by Cicero police and brought to the Hinsdale police station. He was found with drug equipment containing heroin residue. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
