Chicago Summer Music Camp - Beginner Music camp is for ages 5-12yrs old and operates Monday-Friday from 9-1pm in Clarendon Hills, IL. The camp is perfect for students who have not played an instrument before and want to experience the exciting joys of making music.
This camp cultivates and nurtures creativity in a non-pressure environment to encourage young, aspiring musicians how to play and perform selected instruments. If your child has always wanted to experience playing an instrument, this music camp is for them!
Daily Curriculum and Classes
- Mon-Fri – 9am-1pm
- Rhythmic awareness & reading
- Keyboard awareness
- Making & creating several instruments throughout the week
- Experience string, wind, brass & percussion instruments
- Staff reading & writing
- Composing songs
- Aural training through guided listening
- Learning & Performing Disney & popular songs on recorder & singing
- Aftercare is Available until 5:30pm
This is the perfect camp for students that want to explore instruments and music in a non-pressure environment.
