Camera, Lens Stolen From Vehicle: Hinsdale Blotter
Hinsdale Police reports through July 18.

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Possession of Cannabis
- A 16-year-old from Hinsdale was found in possession of tobacco and a substance that field tested positive for cannabis at 5 p.m. July 12 at Hinsdale Police Department, 121 Symonds Drive. The suspect was referred to a juvenile officer and released to a parent.
Criminal Damage to Property

- An unknown suspect damaged a window on a construction loader while it was in the parking lot of The Lane School, 500 N. Elm St., sometime between 5 p.m. July 14 at 9:35 a.m. July 15.
- A house under construction in the 900 block of South Thurlow was damaged by an unknown suspect sometime between 5 p.m. July 14 and 7:48 a.m. July 17. The windows, foundation, stairs, bathtub and insulation were spray-painted. Damage estimated to be $700-1,000.
Aggravated Assault
- Eric Cokley, 21, of the 5500 block of South Madison Street, was arrested at 5:19 a.m. July 15 in the 5500 block of Madison for aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer.
Burglary To Motor Vehicle

- An unknown suspect entered a vehicle in the 400 block of West Birchwood sometime between 9 p.m. July 17 and 5:50 a.m. July 18. A radar detector, loose change, a briefcase, camera and lens were stolen. There were no signs of forced entry to the truck.
