Camp Imagination at the Clarendon Hills Park District
Happy Campers Will Find Fun In the Sun This Summer
It's not too late to plan for a summer of fun in the sun with the Clarendon Hills Park District's popular Camp Imagination program. Open to boys and girls entering kindergarten through fifth grades in the fall, this traditional camping activity includes a new theme for each week of camp! There will be a water day every Tuesday, camp songs and games, messy crafts, guest entertainers and more! All programs run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, with campers enjoying a sack lunch at camp each day. For the convenience of families planning vacations or busy with other activities this season, every child can register for anywhere from one to four sessions of camp. This year's dates are: Session I, June 10-June 20; Session II, June 24-July 3; Session III, July 8-July 18; and Session IV, July 22-August 1. Sessions I-III will meet at the Clarendon Hills Middle School, while Session IV is set to run at Prospect School. There is a $165.00 per session resident fee for boys and girls registering for Session I, III or IV or camp. Non-residents will pay $206.00 per session for these sessions. Since Session II is a bit shorter due to the Fourth of July holiday, children enjoying this program will pay a $144.00 resident ($180.00 non-resident) fee. Registration remains open at the Community center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Families with an active household account in the Clarendon Hills Park District's Rec Trac system are encouraged to register on-line. Come play with us this summer!
