Candy Solicitor Resists Hinsdale Officers: Report
The man had warrants in DuPage and McHenry counties, police said.
HINSDALE, IL — A man selling candy without a permit in Hinsdale's downtown last week ended up being arrested, police said.
About 2 p.m. Dec. 28, police responded to a complaint about a solicitor in the 10 block of East First Street.
The man, identified as Tyron D. Shelton, 20, of Chicago, ran away from police and refused to comply with their orders, according to a police report. Once officers caught Shelton, they found he had arrest warrants from DuPage and McHenry counties, police said.

Shelton was charged with obstructing a police officer and soliciting without a permit. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
