Car Burglaries, Theft: Hinsdale Police Reports
Hinsdale Police reports through Sept. 18.

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Burglary to vehicle
- An unlocked car was entered between 7:40 and 9:30 p.m. Sept. 11 in the 600 block of North Oak. A computer bag, containing a laptop, prescription glasses valued at $500 and a book valued at $15 were stolen.
- A camera valued at $700 was stolen from a car sometime between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. Sept. 11 at Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.
Theft

- The victim reported $500 stolen from her purse sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 10 p.m. Sept. 11 in the 5700 block of South Grant. The victim had hired a moving company and workers were present when the money went missing.
Criminal damage to vehicle
- Someone kicked the victim's passenger side door after confronting the victim about the way he was driving at 3:34 p.m. Sept. 14 in the 300 block of North Oak.
