Car Crashes Into Hinsdale Restaurant

HINSDALE, IL – A driver crashed Monday afternoon into a Hinsdale restaurant.

It happened at Fontano's Subs, 9 S. Lincoln St. The car was still in the building.

A person answering the phone said ambulances were arriving to take people to the hospital. She said the restaurant would be closed for the day and possibly Tuesday as well, if not longer.

Fuller's Car Wash, which is across the street, also reported it was closed for the day.

The parking spaces in front of Fontano's are parallel, so cars aren't parked in the direction of the store.
