Car Stolen, DUI: Hinsdale Blotter

Hinsdale Police reports through July 11.

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Interfering With Police Investigation

  • Lisa Derezinski, 55, of the 200 block of South Bodin, was charged with interfering with police investigation at 11:03 p.m. June 24 in the 200 block of South Bodin. Officers arrived to investigate a loud party, and observed people under 21 under the influence of alcohol. Derezinski interfered with the investigation of the police officers to determine if there was alcohol being served to minors at the party.

DUI

  • Sharon Deshane Williams, 25, Aurora, wascharged at 3:28 a.m. July 9 at 55th and Route 83 with DUI-alcohol and failure to signal.

Motor Vehicle Theft

  • The victim sold a vehicle to a suspect responding to an internet posting at 9:15 a.m. June 29 in the 400 block of West Walnut. The suspect provided a check in the amount of $17,000. Victim reported incident to police when his bank returned the check because the account did not exist.

No Valid Driver's License

  • A 16-year-old male was charged with no valid driver's license at 2:23 a.m. July 5 at Garfield and Ayres avenues. The 16-year-old male passenger was charged with breaking curfew, and a 17-year-old male passenger was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by person under 21. Suspects were charged and released to parents.
