Chicago Marathon: 108 Runners from Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills Finish Race
A Hinsdale runner was among the 100 fastest women in Sunday's 26.2-mile race.
About 45,000 runners from every U.S. state and 115 countries participated in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Sunday.
Ethiopian Tsegaye Kebede had the top finish in the marathon at 2:04:38, breaking the course record set last year by Kenya's Moses Mosop, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Of the 154 runners from Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills that participated Sunday, 79 runners from Hinsdale and 29 runners from Clarendon Hills completed the race.

Hinsdale's top finisher, Samantha Kirkham Iteld, 36, was the 86th fastest woman in the race with a time of 3:02:24. Clarendon Hills' fastest was 39-year-old Eric Ferren, who finished in 3:29:17.
