Incident happened while driver was making a delivery inside the store.

HINSDALE, IL — A man stole 60 cartons of cigarettes from a company's delivery truck last week at a Hinsdale gas station, according to a police report. The cartons were stolen while the driver was making a delivery inside the Shell gas station at 210 E. Ogden Ave. The driver told police the door might have been slightly open. It happened about 9 a.m. last Tuesday.

A witness described the suspect as Hispanic, 5 feet, 7 inches, and wearing sweatpants, white gym shoes, a hat and a black face mask, the police report said. The suspect was seen entering a car and driving north on York Road. Police said the investigation is continuing.
