Clarendon Hills Eyes Townhome Development
The homes would take the place of businesses. The property is next to a park.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Clarendon Hills plans to consider a request for a new townhome development at 421 Park Ave.
The six homes would be in the place of a chiropractic office and a massage business, which are next to Park Avenue Park. The area in question, the village said, suffers major drainage issues.
On Tuesday, the Village Board plans to discuss the proposal, but not take any action.

According to a village memo, the homes would be processed as a "planned unit development." Such a development, the village said, would be required to provide a public benefit.
"The major discussion point is whether the Village Board feels that allowing six new townhomes with a significant amount of stormwater retention is an appropriate use of the (planned unit development) process at this location," the memo said.
