Clarendon Hills Gets Stormwater Money
The county is giving the village $90,000 to help downtown project.
CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Clarendon Hills will receive $90,000 for stormwater drainage as part of its downtown revitalization project, officials said Tuesday.
DuPage County announced it would give $395,000 for stormwater projects for Clarendon Hills and four other towns, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Oak Brook and Wood Dale, and the Oakwood Homeowners Association.
In an interview, Village Manager Kevin Barr said Clarendon Hills would use the money for drainage that would benefit prairie-type greenery. He said he was happy to have the county's support for "this important project."
