Clarendon Hills Gets Top Rankings In Survey of Towns

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Clarendon Hills was recently named "Best Place to Live in Illinois" in Niche.com's 2026 ratings.

Thanks in part to highly rated schools, Clarendon Hills was also ranked as the "Best Place to Raise a Family in America," according to a village news release this week.

"Clarendon Hills' continued recognition in the Niche rankings reflects what residents already know – this is a special place to live,” the village's acting manager, Paul Dalen, said in the release. “From our exceptional schools and safe neighborhoods, to our family-focused downtown events, dedicated local businesses, and outstanding village staff, Clarendon Hills offers a truly unique and high-quality community experience."

Niche bases its ratings on data from the U.S. Census, the U.S. Department of Education and other agencies.
