Clarendon Hills Library presents "Chicago History in Song"

This History Singers perform

What do the Potawatomi, the early white settlers, the Great Fire, the Columbian Exposition, the Iroquois Fire, the Eastland disaster, Alderman Bathhouse John Coughlin, sports, political turmoil, and Chicago Blues all have in common? They are all significant parts of Chicago’s history. Enjoy an evening of song and story touching on these and other pivotal moments that make up the unique fabric of Chicago.


On Tuesday, June 9th at 7 pm the Clarendon Hills Library welcomes John and Kathryn Atwood, The History Singers, as they combine their dual passions for music and American history in this program including slides, narration and music.
