Clarendon Hills Middle School Band Performs At State Conference
The Clarendon Hills Middle School Symphonic Band recently performed at the Illinois Music Educators Conference.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL- The Clarendon Hills Middle School Symphonic Band recently performed at the Illinois Music Educators Conference in Peoria.
According to a release from the District, the performance took place in January and included five songs: "Days of Glory" by John Cacavas, "On a Hymnsong of Phillip Bliss" by David R. Holsinger, "Amen!" by Frank Ticheli, "American Riversongs" by Pierre LaPlante, and "The Incredibles" arranged by Paul Murtha.
"We are proud to recognize the entire team of students and staff who together have earned this outstanding accomplishment," said superintendent Dr. Don White, in a release.

Band Director Terry Melbourn sent in the application to perform, and said that the students had been rehearsing since the beginning of the school year.
CHMS was one of only four schools chosen to perform at the state convention.
