Clarendon Hills Music Academy Hosts Silent Film Festival

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Music Academy is co-organizing an event that gives aspiring student filmmakers a chance to show off their work. The Student Silent Film Festival will be held at Sanfilippo Estate in Barrington on Nov. 11.

According to the academy, there will be 11 high schools participating in this event: including Bremen High School, Franklin High School, Homewood-Flossmoor High School, Lake Forest High School, Lyons Township High School, Maine East High School, Mundelein, Neuqua Valley, Riverside Brookfield High School, Vernon Hills High School and York Community High School.

This is the first year of the event, and all student silent films will be screened accompanied by live music. For more information on the film festival, visit the website.
