Clarendon Hills Park District Holds Spring Events

Join the park district for a Morning with the Easter Bunny, as well as the annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 30.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park District will host a Morning With the Easter Bunny event on Friday, March 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Clarendon Hills Middle School. The park district said this family event will feature light breakfast bites, face painting, a magic show, photo options with the Easter Bunny and balloon art.

There is a $5 fee per person for this activity; and you can register at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Ave., no later than March 28.

After the morning event, the annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Prospect Park. The park district said children will be grouped by age at the Clarendon Hills Middle School, before being led out into the park to gather plastic eggs. Many of these Easter treats will have very tiny prizes hidden inside, all designed for boys and girls ages 3 and up. Preschoolers ages 3-4 will enjoy this event at 10:50 a.m., while boys and girls ages 5-8 will join in the fun at 11:10 a.m.; and boys and girls ages 9-12 will conclude this event at 11:30 a.m. The egg hunt is free, but bring a basket to collect your eggs.
