Clarendon Hills Park District Plans Winter Break Open Gym

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — If you're looking for something for the kids to do over winter break, the Clarendon Hills Park District has scheduled a series of Open Gym Basketball events for children to enjoy over break. Open gym programs will from Dec. 26 to Dec. 28 and again from Jan. 2 to Jan. 4.

The park district said boys and girls in grades 1-3 will play between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at Prospect School, while basketball players in grades 4-8 will join in the fun between noon and 1:30 p.m. at Clarendon Hills Middle School.

All gyms are supervised by members of the Clarendon Hills Park District's recreation staff; there is a $3 fee per player, which payable at the door.
