Clarendon Hills Park Foundation Receives National Award

The Clarendon Hills Park District's Park Foundation received the inaugural Lehman Award for Park Foundation Excellence recently at the National Association of Park Foundation's annual banquet. The award, recognizing creative event production, was given for the foundation's Bees on Parade community art project which delight residents of Clarendon Hills throughout the summer of 2018. This exhibit featured 13 larger-than-life, colorful, hand-painted fiberglass bees created by students from area schools and other volunteer artists. Many local businesses and organizations served as sponsors to bring this project to Clarendon Hills. Congratulations to all of the members of the Clarendon Hills Park Foundation for this noteworthy honor!
