Clarendon Hills Preschoolers Celebrate Thanksgiving

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park District's Active Learners Preschool hosted a Thanksgiving feast on Monday, Nov. 19. The park district said the boys and girls created a Friendship Fruit Salad with fresh groceries brought from home and even baked corn muffins at the start of class.

At this "Friendsgiving" celebration, the park district said the children took time to express their gratiitude for their homes, families, food, teachers and new friends at the Clarendon Hills Park District preschool.

The Thanksgiving feast is an annual event at the Active Learners Preschool, with celebrations taking place in both the "Terrific Threes" and "Fantastic Fours" classes.
