Clarendon Hills Preschoolers Celebrate Valentine's Day
Clarendon Hills Park District's Active Learners Preschool learned a bit about love and friendship at their Valentine's Day parties.
CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The children of the Clarendon Hills Park District's Active Learners Preschool learned a bit about love and friendship at their Valentine's Day parties. According to the park district, students showed appreciation for their teachers through a class card and flowers.
The homemade snack for the classroom parties included heart-shaped jelly sandwiches. As part of their Mad Science Month experiment, the youngsters also created their very own "Love Potion," following experiment directions, observing their results and recording their findings, the park district said.
