The Clarendon Hills Park District's Active Learners Preschool has openings in both its "Terrific Threes" and "Fantastic Fours Pre-K" program for the Winter 2017 session. All programs at the preschool emphasize a core curriculum, an early love of learning, skill development, positive self-esteem, new friendships and fun! The winter session will begin in early January and runs into May of next year. Classes for three-year-old students will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, while four-year-old activities are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. The Clarendon Hills Park District's Active Learners Preschool is based out of the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Preschool director Kathy Forzley and her assistant teacher, Gretchen Malitz, incorporate arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor play, reading readiness, seasonal celebrations and music into each preschool day. Tuition for the winter session is $800.00 for boys and girls living in Clarendon Hills and $850.00 for children living in nearby communities.
